I really need help with christmas this year. I have 7 children in the home and one of them have autism. I have lost my job and there dad makes enough to pay the bills. My children are all in need of clothes. Toys is a bonus. I hate to ask for help; however, I don't want my children to wake up with nothing ( that is a very depressing feeling that I am feeling right now). My children ages are from 15-2years of age. So If someone know a organization that can help me, please don't hesitate to let me know. Thank you.

I've contacted the Salvation Army and they are no longer accepting applications for adopt a family for Christmas!
I guess I would fall in the catagory of Single Parent for the first time in my life after a 28yr. marriage.
I have a beautiful young daughter of 16, about to graduate from High School. I also have went back to finish my GED, Math is the last subject to complete. I want to pursue a carrier in the medical field and become a Licensed Vocational Nurse. Both Christina and I volunteer in the community.
Christina goes to Tijuana, Mex. once a month with a group from our church "Team Mexico" and I volunteer at a State Prison with "Life Term Prisoners" on Sundays mornings. I really love it and I know that Christina enjoys doing missonary work herself.
This year will be our first Christmas together by ourselves, but know that God is with us and He will never leave us alone nor forsake us, and so we ask you to please consider taking us in as your part of your blessing and adopt us for Christmastime.

Below is a link to the Las Vegas Rescue Mission. They provide help with housing, food and clothing, so they may be able to get you some clothing for your children.
To help reduce the cost of food click on the link below:
There you'll be able to order food once per month (all you need) and you can feed a family of 4 for one week for only $30.00.. You'd probably want to order 2 boxes of food for each week..so 8 all together.
You get REAL food....not government "cheese." Each month the standard box changes, but this month I got for only $30.00
2 pounds of ribeye steaks
1 pound ground beef
2 pound pork roast
1 pound of chicken fajitas
1.5 pounds of chicken breast strips
32 fish sticks
2 pounds of apples
1 pound of lima beans
1 pound of green beans
2 pounds of french fries
1 dozen eggs
1 quart of milk and
10 flour tortillas
1 pumpkin cheese cake
There would be NO WAY for me to but all that in grocery store for $30.00
I also suggest you check on applying for TANF (Temporary Assistance to Needy Families). The link below will give you tons of info on the servce and how to apply in your area:
You should also look into apply for SNAP (a long acronym for food stamps). Click the link below for more info:
There are also many programs to help with Utility Bills in Nevada. Check out the link below for more info:
I hope this information helps you and have a blessed Christmas.
This Christmas is really going to be hard for me. I have three beautiful little boys (3,5, and6 yrs). I'm unemployed and attending school. It deeply hurts me to know that I'm not able to give them a Christmas. I don't really have family to turn to for help, so I'm lost for what to do. But I pray and I have faith that something will happening for my kids to have a Christmas.
